The 7th Annual Dublin Day will be taking place on the 14th/15th of October. This is the DRC's main event of the year and for the first time ever is taking place when all of Dublin's colleges are in term. Everyone is welcome including our friends from outside of Dublin and there is group accommodation avaliable for the weekend and it will cost €30 per person for the two nights. Friday:
First Annual Dublin YFG Debating Competition in the Arts Block in Trinity College Dublin from 7.00pm-9.00pm

Teams will consist of two people and all branches are encouraged to send a team or even two teams, for the bigger branches. There will be 3 minutes per person for the early rounds and this will increase to 5 minutes for the Final.

Saturday:

In the Crown Plaza Hotel, Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin 15 (right beside the shopping centre) A lot buses go there. However the best is probably the 39a, which goes from UCD, stops on O'Connell Street and leaves every 10 minutes.
